SIAE Borderò: now fully digital

Managing borderò is quick and easy with the new mioBorderò, available also in English and German: download the app or access the desktop portal.

The borderò (or “Music Program”) is the document that lists all the works performed during an event, allowing us to correctly distribute the copyright collected for that music event.

Managing and filling out the borderò is quick and easy with the new mioBorderò: download the app, available for free on iOS e Android, or log in to SIAE’s online services to start using the desktop portal.

In addition, mioBorderò is multilingual: it is available in Italian, English, and German.

mioBorderò: what's new?

mioBorderò is now simpler, more intuitive, and better aligned with the needs of Professional Organizers and Performance Directors:

• A clearer interface and smoother navigation, so you can immediately find what you need;
• The status of your borderò is always visible, letting you track its progress from start to finish;
• New features designed specifically for Organizers and Performance Directors.

New features for Professional Organizers

• Withdraw a borderò assignment at any time, as long as the Performance Director has not yet returned it
• If an event does not take place, return an empty borderò in just a few seconds
• The return is completed directly when the Performance Director submits it
• For live events only (light music concerts and mega-concerts), the borderò is returned to the Organizer, who can review the setlist and proceed with the final submission

New features for Performance Directors

• Compile the setlist by directly uploading a file
• Once your setlist is created, simply link it to a borderò and send it quickly and easily
• Track search is now faster and more accurate, helping you find what you need right away

Before you start: how the borderò works (in a nutshell)

Are you organizing an event?
Or are you the DJ, artist, or band managing the music?

Here are three things you should know before starting:

  1. The Organizer requests the SIAE Permit and appoints a “Performance Director” (usually the person responsible for the music at the event)
  2. The Performance Director creates the setlist with the tracks performed during the event, links it to the borderò, and sends it
  3. For concerts and mega-concerts, the completed borderò is sent back to the Organizer, who submits it to SIAE; for all other event types, the borderò is sent directly to SIAE by the Performance Director

For private parties (weddings, birthdays, or similar celebrations), borderò submission is not required.
