Extension of Protection

Each SIAE Member or Principal has the possibility to extend his protection to other qualifications for free, when obtains a specific qualification, even for different Sections, by applying appropriately. This way, if you have got all requisites, you can register with no additional costs to other Sections and see all your works protected by paying only one membership or annual fee.

Authors who registered to SIAE, granting mandate to the Cinema and OLAF Sections (so by paying the only amount related to costs of preliminary examination of your request, with exemption from paying the annual mandate renewal fees), can extend the protection mandate to the Opera, Music and DOR Sections and their related qualifications by sending the appropriate application form and paying the stamp duty and annual fee for mandate. For the following years it will be sufficient to pay only the annual fee.

If you are less than 30, naturally, the extension of protection is free and you must not pay for the annual contribution if you are a Member, or the annual fee if you are a Principal.

In order to get the extension of protection to another Section, you would need the same requisites and formalities expected from the membership or the granted mandate to the interested Section.
