Theatre works (such as prose works, productions for children, puppets and marionnettes’ shows, cabaret works, and circus-theatre works) and musical theatre works (such as operattas, musicals and musical comedies) are protected by the DOR Section (Drama and Radio TV Works).

ASK FOR THE LICENCE TO USE THEATRE WORKS

For each of the works above identified, the Section protects the rights relating to representations in public radio and television broadcasting, and the audio or video playback, implemented with any technical support or broadcasting system. In general, for the protected repertoire, Section DOR performs:

- The granting of permits for the use of the works;

- the collection of royalties payable by users for the exploitation of works;

- the breakdown and subsequent clearance of the collected revenue by those entitled, on the basis of the actual use of their works.
