SIAE is the 6th collective management organisation globally (CISAC, Global Collections Report): we protect our members and their works everywhere in the world, thanks to the reciprocal representation agreements with collecting societies abroad. SIAE presides over several organisations representing creators’ interests at the european and international level.
We protect our members’ works everywhere in Europe and in the world through the reciprocal representation agreements with the other collecting societies abroad:
We monitor legislative initiatives and institutional events at European and international level to make sure copyright is protected properly, secure contracts and agreements abroad and maintain relationships with the other collecting societies and our European and international partners.
These activities are carried out by the International Relations Office, with the support of SIAE Sections.

Among the international projects in collaboration with the other societies abroad, SIAE was a partner and founder of FastTrack.
Founded in 2000, FastTrack created the CIS-Net system through which over 144 CMOs and RMEs from all over the world daily exchange and promptly provide the data necessary for collecting and distributing rights.
Since 2017 the presidency has been entrusted to SIAE.
CIS-Net has recently been absorbed by CISAC, which manages it directly.
